Midway Care Group is recruiting Support Workers (Days) in Derbyshire to help adults with learning disabilities live more independently. You will support daily living tasks and build meaningful relationships within the local community.

The role offers flexible weekday/weekend hours, personal care where needed, and a pathway to future leadership roles with fully funded qualifications. Service users are supported across Derbyshire, with comprehensive onboarding and training provided.

Qualifications

• A desire to work with people and make a difference in daily life.
• Experience in care or working with a vulnerable adult is preferred.
• Fully flexible with working across weekdays and weekends.
• Willingness to help with personal care.
• Interest in future progression into junior, middle, or senior leadership roles.

Responsabilités

• I will be supporting people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• I will be identifying and meeting the needs of those we care for.
• I will be developing and maintaining relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• I will be positively encouraging choices in keeping with the rights of people with a learning disability.
• I will be participating and assisting with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living.
