Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Llwyn Teg in Llanfyllin. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks and maintain accurate records, working within care plans to promote dignity and inclusion.

Support Worker at Llwyn Teg

Location: Mill Lane, Llanfyllin, Powys SY22 5BG

Salary: £13.67 per hour

Hours: 24, 30, 42 hour contracts

Shift Times: 07:15-13:45 & 13:15-19:45 & 07.15 - 19.45 (includes alternative weekends)

Llwyn Teg is a care home in Llanfyllin, Powys, offering 33 residential places with a focus on dementia care.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
