Overview
We have an opportunity available for 2 Full Time Support Workers to join the team at Lincolnshire Respite Service - Swallow Lodge based in North Hykeham, Lincoln,Lincolnshire, LN6 8UZ.

Salary: £12.00 hourly
Hours: 1x 35 hr contract working days various shifts and 1 in 3 weekends and 1x 35hr contract working waking nights 3/4 shifts a week 9.30pm-7.30am available.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker for the Waking Nights Respite Service, you will have the incredible opportunity to embody our core values of kind hearts, tailor-making, dreaming big, having courage, and being ready. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.
Your evenings and nights will be filled with meaningful support that truly makes a difference in the lives of those you serve. You will provide personal care, administer medication, conduct security checks, and assist with domestic tasks. With your kind and compassionate heart, you will create an environment of warmth and care that will make service users feel seen and valued.
As a tailor-made supporter, you will have the opportunity to adjust your approach to each individual's unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care possible. With courage in your heart, you will tackle any challenges that may arise with unwavering determination, knowing that your presence alone brings comfort to those who need it most.

Qualifications
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
