Cumberland Council is recruiting a Support Worker for Carlisle Day Services to provide support and care within Disability and Mental Health Services. The role is based in Carlisle with 37 hours per week and a salary of £13.91 per hour.

Responsibilities

• As a Day service Support Worker, you will get to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.
• You will also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging people to achieve their full potential.
• We are looking for support workers who are flexible, enthusiastic, willing to undertake specialised activities and training whilst also sharing your own personal skills, interests and ideas.
• We are particularly interested in individuals who enjoy working outdoors, and have an interest in driving a minibus
