Job summary

Austin Dean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Day Care Centres across East London. You will assist adults with daily activities, support social participation, and help create a safe, respectful environment where each person is treated as an individual.

Responsibilities include personal care, epilepsy awareness, encouraging independence, and clear communication with service users and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker or in an adult care setting in the UK.
• Good understanding of epilepsy and ability to support people who have seizures.
• Experience providing personal care.
• Kind, patient and respectful approach.
• Reliable attendance and good communication skills.
• The right to work in the UK.

Support Worker – Day Care Centres

East London | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | Weekly pay

Are you a caring and dependable Support Worker who enjoys helping people feel safe, included and supported?

We’re recruiting Support Workers for day care centres across East London. You’ll support adults with learning disabilities and other support needs to take part in activities, build confidence and enjoy their day. You’ll help create a friendly, respectful environment where each person is treated as an individual and encouraged to be as independent as possible.

Shift details and benefits

• Hours: 10:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Weekends: No weekend shifts
• Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly
• Flexible shifts, with opportunities to work around your availability
