Superior Healthcare in Sidcup is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care for a client with complex health needs. You will follow an individual care plan and work with families and clinicians to support independence and daily living.

The role offers day and night shifts, induction and ongoing training, with wellbeing support and career progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 6 months' previous care or support experience in the UK.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred support.
• Support daily routines and agreed personal goals.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity.
• Provide personal care where this forms part of the individual care plan.
• Support social activities and access to the community where required.
• Build a consistent, trusting relationship with the person you support.
• Observe wellbeing and report changes or concerns.
• Maintain clear and accurate care records.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and professionals.
