A leading housing provider in Swindon is seeking a Support Worker (Coach) to provide person-centred support to young residents. The role involves managing client caseloads, conducting assessments, and delivering quality support sessions. Ideal candidates will have experience with young people and knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
Swindon Foyer is located in the heart of Old Town, Swindon, supporting vulnerable young people in the community to achieve their goals and work towards independent living. It provides an integrated approach to housing, personal development, and training for young people aged 16–25.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Support Worker (Coach) to deliver person-centred, strengths-based support to our residents, helping them become as independent as possible.
You will manage a caseload of clients, guiding them through their journey, encouraging them to articulate their aspirations, and realizing their potential. Responsibilities include managing referrals, conducting interviews and assessments, notifying clients of outcomes, inducting new clients, and delivering quality support sessions both one-to-one and in groups.
