A children's residential care provider is looking for a Support Worker to help young people aged 8-17. Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home (EBD, 8–17 years)

Role overview and responsibilities:

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (part time salary pro rata) dependent on experience. Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) and part time roles available, permanent role.

• Supporting young people to continue hobbies, develop friendships, explore new activities, and build essential life skills.
• Providing consistent day-to-day care and creating a safe, homely, therapeutic environment.
• Helping with daily routines such as preparing for school, maintaining healthy routines, and promoting balanced meals.
• Ensuring the home is a calm, welcoming space where young people can relax and feel secure.
• Encouraging young people to reach their potential and try new experiences.
• Supporting development through engaging activities, positive role modelling, and consistent emotional support.
• Building strong, trusting relationships while ensuring safeguarding needs are always met.
• Working closely with other professionals and contributing to care plans.
