Job summary
Cygnet Clynsaer in the Welsh countryside near Llandovery is seeking Support Workers. This role offers a welcoming entry into care with full induction training and a focus on helping adults with learning disabilities and complex needs live independent, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
- No previous care experience required; full induction training provided.
- Able to work as part of a team and follow care plans.
Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate, person-centred support while promoting dignity, choice and respect.
- Supporting individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
- Helping individuals develop independence and essential life skills.
- Supporting access to education, leisure and community activities.
- Following support plans, positive behaviour support strategies and risk assessments.
- Administering medication following training and competency assessments.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to effective handovers.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
