Support Worker Jobs with a difference

We cannot offer sponsorship for this role. The starting salary for a support worker is approximately £25,812 annually for a 35-hour week, including one sleep-in per week at £60 per night. Working an additional 6 hours per week can increase earnings to about £29,844 annually. Experienced workers often earn over £30,000 per year through overtime.

Hours and Shift Pattern

35 hours per week on a 3-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Mon 10am-8pm, Tue 10am-3pm, Thu 10am-3pm
  • Week 2: Mon 10am-8pm, Tue 10am-3pm, Thu 10am-5pm
  • Week 3: Mon 10am-8pm, Tue 10am-3pm, Thu 10am-3pm, Sat 8am-5.30pm

Homersham is a Supported Living service near Canterbury, supporting 7 tenants aged 21-28. The tenants enjoy community activities, social events, and outdoor gatherings. The team is friendly, social, and eager to welcome new colleagues.

Training Provided

Support Worker Responsibilities
  • Drive a mobility car or service vehicle (manual license essential)
  • Support individuals with behaviors related to stress, mental health, or safety issues
  • Assist with community activities and personal care

  • Perform household tasks, support with finances, and support individuals with additional needs
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold privacy and dignity
