Job summary

Hoople Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Ridgemoor in Leominster. You will support residents to live safe, valued and independent lives, assisting with personal care, meals, activities and health management with respect and encouragement.

The role requires empathy, reliability and good teamwork. Flexible hours (including evenings, weekends and nights) are available, with enhanced night rates and ongoing training provided to keep everyone safe and supported.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2/3 Health or Social Care qualification (or working towards it).
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and nights.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Health and safety awareness (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, respecting individual needs.
• Help with daily tasks like cooking, hygiene, and medication.
• Encourage involvement in hobbies, outings, and community life.
• Support residents in making choices and managing money.
• Work with the team to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
• Maintain clear records and follow safeguarding procedures.
