Salary: £11.60 to £12.00 per hour, dependent on experience

About Ty Bronllys

Located in the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park, Ty Bronllys offers a rural setting with beautiful landscapes and historic attractions. Residents enjoy activities like walks, hikes, and visits to local sites such as Bronllys Castle, Merthyr, and Brecon.

A Typical Day

As a Support Worker, you will support the daily activities, educational needs, and personal development of our young people, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised care during daily activities, including personal care, learning, and social interactions.
  • Foster a safe, positive environment ensuring emotional and physical well-being.
  • Implement individualised care plans under senior guidance.
  • Support recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and celebrate achievements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Compassionate and caring with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilient and patient, adaptable to individual needs.
  • Willing to learn and follow team guidance.
