Job summary

Protocol Education is currently recruiting Support Worker Assistants to work at an Outstanding College in the London Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, with immediate starts available.

You will support post-16 students with autism, sensory needs, physical disabilities and complex learning needs in small groups of 6-8, helping them develop independence and prepare for adulthood and employment, both on-site and in the local community.

Qualifications

• Requires suitable qualifications and training for this role.
• Experience with supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
• Help create positive learning experiences and develop independence.
• Support students in preparing for adulthood and employment.
• Assist with activities including community-based learning and residential hours where applicable.
• Support sensory integration and emotional development using visual/tactile resources.
