Job summary

Westcountry Case Management Ltd in Ashburton is seeking a Part Time Support Worker to assist a gentleman with a brain injury at his home. The role includes admin and domestic tasks, enabling community access and participation in social, leisure, gym and hydrotherapy activities, with the aim of promoting independence.

Applicants should have previous care experience, a full driving licence and access to a car.

Job description

Part Time Support Worker (Ashburton)

Part Time Support Worker Required to work with a gentleman with a brain injury in his own home in Ashburton.

Requirements

• Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential.
• An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and Competent IT skills are desirable.
• Fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS is required.
• Register with the DBS Update Service.

Hours & Salary

• 16.5 hours per week over 3 days plus additional hours to cover annual leave/sickness
• £15.00 per hour weekdays
• £16.00 per hour weekends

Employment Details

You will be employed directly by the client; however, Westcountry Case Management oversee all aspects of the clients care package on his behalf.
