Job summary

Westcountry Case Management Ltd in Ashburton is seeking a Part-Time Support Worker to help a gentleman with a brain injury in his own home. The role covers admin, domestic tasks, and enabling daily activity. The position is 16.5 hours per week over 3 days, with pay £15.00 on weekdays and £16.00 on weekends.

A full UK driving licence and IT skills are desirable; an enhanced DBS is required. Interviews may be via Zoom/Teams, and the company prioritizes safeguarding and flexible interview

Job description

Part Time Support Worker Required to work with a gentleman with a brain injury in his own home in Ashburton. Role will involve admin and domestic support, assistance to access the community, engagement in social & leisure activities, participation in a gym and hydrotherapy programme, enabling him to be an independent individual.

Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and Competent IT skills are desirable. 16.5 hours per week over 3 days plus additional hours to cover annual leave/ sickness £15.00 per hour weekdays £16.00 per hour weekends

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS. You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.

Interviews MAY be held via Zoom/Teams/Skype/other such teleconferencing tools, therefore candidates MUST HAVE the ability to attend interview via these methods.
