At MacIntyre, we’re passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to lead gloriously ordinary lives. We are looking for full-time Support Workers to join our teams in our homes in Crownhill and Great Holm, Milton Keynes.
You’ll be helping people to live the life they choose and empowering them to make connections where they live and go out in line with our “Everyone, Everywhere” approach. We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic people who are ready to bring their own gifts, skills and passions to the people we support, ensuring they have a voice and are listened to.

“I like living here because I see my friends and girlfriend regularly and I like my flat”.
“I like to see my friends and going to the cinema with staff”.
“I like the parties and barbecues that everyone has”.
No two days are ever the same! You’ll be giving people a hand as they go about their day to day lives, whether it’s supporting with hobbies, helping them get ready for the day, or assisting during the evening. You’ll also play an important role in encouraging the people we support to do the things they enjoy and will help them to organise things like parties, trips out or barbecues. Both homes have a lovely garden, which everyone enjoys, especially in the summer months.
Shifts are on a rota basis, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Typical shift times are 07:3015:00 (earlies) and 14:3022:00 (lates.) There are also sleep-in shifts.
