Job summary

MacIntyre is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for Adult Services in Manchester to assist Daniel* who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. You will provide person-centred, hands-on care, including PEG feeding, mobility support and epilepsy management, working closely with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires confidence in physically demanding tasks, strong teamwork and communication, and a full UK driving licence.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and compassionate Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting Daniel*, a young man with complex needs. This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is committed to delivering consistent, high-quality, person-centred support.

Daniel* has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and requires support with PEG feeding. He can also require support at times, so we're looking for someone who is calm, resilient, and skilled at working proactively to promote positive outcomes.

A background in healthcare or social care is desirable, but what matters most is your confidence, reliability, and ability to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Daniel* with PEG feeding.
• Providing physical support and moving & handling assistance in relation to his cerebral palsy.
• Supporting him in managing his epilepsy, following his associated care plans.
• Working proactively to support positive outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with the wider support team to ensure consistency of care.

About you
