Job summary

Transforming Support in the UK is seeking an Independent Living Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities foster independence and life skills within their communities. You will provide person-centred daily living support, access to services, and advocacy for residents in line with dignity and respect.

The role emphasizes building trust, maintaining safety, and supporting personal goals while promoting autonomy. A full-time position includes day and night shifts in the Widnes area.

Support Worker

• Full-time - 38.5 hours per week (day and night shifts available)
• Permanent position
• £14 per hour (£28,028 per annum) + discretionary yearly bonus up to £1,000

The Role

• Assist individuals in accessing community services, activities, and employment opportunities

• Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Advocate for individuals' rights, promoting choice, dignity, and respect
• Respond to emergencies or challenging situations with professionalism and care
