TipTopJob in Weymouth, Dorset, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a Good-rated nursing home offering general and dementia care, residential and respite services.

This permanent full-time role (36 hours per week) offers days or night shifts, an hourly rate of GBP13.45, and a benefits package including pension, induction, enhanced holiday pay, and uniform provided.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required.

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care provider.

This nursing home specialises in general and dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as Good by CQC.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week working on days or night shifts.
