Job description

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for support worker. Join us to build and grow a new OFSTED registered children’s service in Weymouth.

What we’ll give you:

  • £12.21 per hour.
  • Full time 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts will include 2 night shifts and 20 hours during the day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting one child.
  • Supporting with daily tasks, engaging in learning and taking part in activities and interests.
  • Supporting with personal care.
  • Cooking, cleaning, and supporting with everyday tasks.
  • Shifts will include 8am–3pm and 3pm–9pm. Sleep ins and weekend working will be required.

Who you are:

  • Experience of working in children’s residential home is preferred.
  • You are enthusiastic, compassionate and love working with children.
  • You are motivated, flexible and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
