Job summary

Campania Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care for residents with complex physical and mental health needs. The role includes assisting with daily routines, personal care, mobility and mealtimes, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

We welcome both experienced carers and those new to care who are eager to learn within a specialist setting.

Job description

Campania is a spacious Victorian home in Weston-super-Mare, just a short walk from the seafront and pier. It provides specialist support for individuals living with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff’s syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, with care for up to 41 residents.

Support Worker Contract
  • £12.71-£13.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 40.25 hours per week - Alternate Weekend
  • 06:45AM-19:00PM
  • Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person centred support within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.

You will support residents with daily routines, including personal care, mobility and mealtimes, helping to maintain independence while ensuring safety, comfort and dignity at all times. You will respond sensitively to changing needs, contributing to a calm, stable and supportive environment.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans, support structured routines and help maintain a consistent and well organised setting. You will build positive relationships with residents, contributing to a safe and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and confidence.

This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care who are willing to learn and develop within a specialist setting.
