Job summary

Lifeways in Huddersfield is looking for compassionate Support Workers to join our team. You’ll help individuals with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs live more independently, with everyday activities from shopping to community events.

We offer full-time (36 hrs/week) and part-time/sessional roles, full training, a supportive team, and a values‑driven culture focused on choice, dignity and respect. DBS paid for and inclusion at the heart of our approach.

What You’ll Be Doing:
At our Huddersfield service, people come together as a community. The individuals we support are young adults who enjoy shopping, cooking, gardening, swimming, football, playing the guitar, walking, listening to music, watching television, and being in the community.
We support individuals to live independently and achieve their personal goals, promoting choice, dignity and respect in everyday life. We work as part of a close‑knit, supportive team.
