Job summary

Phoenix House is a brand-new children’s home in the United Kingdom, opening soon. As a Support Worker, you will provide nurturing care to young people with emotional and developmental needs, supporting routines, education, activities, and personal growth in a warm, safe environment.

You will build trust, promote resilience and independence, and collaborate with families and professionals. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) or progress toward it is expected, with flexible

  • Contribute to key working sessions, handovers, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours to meet the needs of the home.
  • Identify and report risks, safeguarding concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a passionate and supportive team, providing consistent, nurturing care to young people with a range of emotional, social, and developmental needs. No two days are the same, from supporting daily routines and education, to outdoor activities and personal growth, your role will have a direct, positive impact on the lives of the young people in your care.


You’ll help create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment, building trust and strong relationships while supporting young people to develop resilience, independence, and confidence.


What You’ll Be Doing
