Job summary

Voyage Care Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals gain independence in daily life and participate in community activities. You will work within a warm, dynamic team to provide compassionate care at our Wakefield service.

No prior experience is required; a caring attitude and desire to learn are valued. We offer training, progression opportunities, and a supportive environment focused on improving quality of life for those we support.

Job description

Support Worker – Wakefield - £12.72 ph

Typical Shifts are: 07.30 - 14.30, 14.30 - 21.30 & 21.30-07.30 included sleeps.

Our residential service in Wakefield is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
