Job summary

Beyond Limits in Scotland is seeking compassionate, energetic individuals to support Stuart in his own home. You don’t need a cape, but you do need patience, kindness, and a good sense of humor to help with daily living and activities such as singing, puzzles and mobility support.

This part-time role (16 hours) requires a full UK driving licence and basic computer skills; you’ll join a dedicated team committed to inclusion and safeguarding, with excellent training, induction, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills.
• Experience or understanding of autism spectrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Stuart to live independently at home and assist with mobility.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities such as singing, puzzles, and games.
• Maintain safety, be reliable and flexible, and contribute to a positive, inclusive home environment.

Job description

All compassionate crusaders looking to unleash their superpowers, patience, and kindness. Stuart needs you for his mission which is to live independently in his own home with his amazing team. You don't need to wear a cape, but you will need to be energetic and fun loving and enjoy singing and music, jigsaws and aeroplanes. Some Aquaman qualities will be required though, as Stuart is a huge fan of swimming.

To have a good understanding of the autism spectrum and some experience is a plus and Stuart would love to have you onboard in his team.

Contract:

Part-Time 16h and possibility of overtime

Essential for this job:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Reasonable level of Computer Skills

Ideally you will:

• Have some similar interests to Stuart
• Have a good sense of humour
• Be reliable and flexible
• Be physically fit to help Stuart with his wheelchair when necessary
• Be keen to make a difference to Stuart's life
