Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in Trowbridge. You will support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments across local services.

You'll work flexibly on agency shifts, enjoying competitive weekly pay, access to free advanced training and a free enhanced DBS check. You must be 18+, with UK care experience and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• To be aged 18 or over
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
• The right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring, reliable and professional approach, with the confidence to adapt to different settings

Responsibilities

• Providing practical care and support
• Helping with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community
• Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement
• Providing or prompting personal care when required
• Following support plans and keeping accurate records
• Some services will require complex care, additional training will be provided to support you with this.
