Job summary

Jane Lewis is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in Hythe, Kent. You’ll work across local services supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

You’ll provide practical care, assist with daily tasks, promote independence and document progress. Flexible shifts and free training are available; a free enhanced DBS check is provided. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Caring, reliable and professional approach; able to adapt to different settings

Responsibilities

• Provide practical care and support
• Help with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community
• Encourage independence, choice and social engagement
• Provide or prompt personal care when required
• Follow support plans and keep accurate records
• Some services may require complex care; additional training will be provided

• Following support plans and keeping accurate records
• Some services will require complex care, additional training will be provided to support you with this.
