Job summary

Cygnet St Teilo House in Rhymney, Wales, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our female rehabilitation ward. You will provide physical and emotional support, encourage independence, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents across a 42-hour week.

We offer flexible learning through apprenticeships, shift flexibility for overtime, and a supportive team with regular coaching, supervision, and wellbeing resources to help you grow with us.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Sensitivity and empathy to support women in rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Support independence and person-centred care.
