Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Support Worker in Swaffham to help people gain more independence and enhance their quality of life. You will work within a supportive team to assist with daily living, personal care and community engagement, tailoring activities to individual goals.

The role requires a full UK driving license and a genuine caring attitude, with shifts that include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Training and DBS checks are provided to successful applicants.

Support Worker - Swaffham - pay rate £13.05 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm , Waking nights are 9pm-7am

Please note that a full UK driving license is required as part of this role

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Swaffham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support shopping in town, the next you could be unwinding with them cooking, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs.
