A leading care provider in St Albans is seeking caring individuals to support adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives. You will create personalized support plans and assist with personal care, daily living, and health management. Responsibilities
  • Support person‑centred planning by creating tailored support plans that reflect individual needs, wishes, and goals for growth and development.
  • Deliver care and assistance in line with support plans, including personal care, daily living, finances, relationships, social activities, education, employment, and holidays.
  • Assist individuals in managing health needs, including medication administration, attending appointments, dietary support, and monitoring changes.
  • Promote independence by encouraging participation in daily life and skill development.
  • Understand and adapt to each person's communication style to enable informed choices and self‑expression.
  • Respect and support individuals' spiritual and cultural needs in accordance with their beliefs and customs.
  • Ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding from harm, abuse, and unnecessary risk in all aspects of care.
  • Take responsibility for key working duties and proper use of equipment and personal belongings.
