Support Workers

Location: Barnsley S70 and S74

Full Time / Part Time / Relief contracts available, including sleep ins

FULL UK Driving License required

Pay £13.21 per hour

We are currently looking for support workers to support individuals across 4 locations in Barnsley on either a full-time, part-time, or relief contract basis. Flexibility on working days, waking nights, and sleep ins, including weekends, is required.

You will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs.

Your role will involve:

1. Supporting with personal care, from prompting to full care and manual handling
2. Supporting with meal preparation and feeding
3. Medication management, PEG feeds
4. Supporting with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
5. Encouraging participation in activities they enjoy
6. Full training will be provided

Typical shift patterns are 07:00-14:00, 07:00-14:30, 14:00-21:00, and 14:30-22:00, including at least one sleep-in per week.
