Job description

Location: Sittingbourne (must have full UK driving licence and own car due to location)

Hourly Rate: from £15.00 to £16.83

Shifts Available: 11:00am to 3:00pm x 3 days a week- Monday to Wednesday with potential for additional shifts to cover respite or annual leave (this may include working during weekends and possibility overnight stays)

Due to the wishes of the family, we are only considering applications from female Support Workers.

*Must have experience of supporting children with challenging behaviours*

About the Role

Continuity of Care Services is looking for a patient Support Worker for our 15-year-old female client and her family. Predominately you will provide help with household chores and their pets - dogs and horses.

You will work alongside our client's mum, to support our client, both at home and with her social activities and accessing the local community. Our client is quick-witted and has a playful personality. She is passionate about animals and there are dogs and horses at the property. In time she wishes to return to horse riding.

Our clients requirements:

- Experience of working with children and behaviours that challenge (essential)

- You should be confident around animals (essential) to be able help with the dogs and work with the horses in the backyard

- Full UK driving licence and your own car is essential due to location
