We have an amazing opportunity for Support Workers to join our friendly team at our Kingly Terrace service in Rushden. Our team understands that a holistic approach is necessary to ensure that those in our care are safe, happy, and healthy. We promote and fulfill the company values of being caring, honest, proactive, and empowering for those we support.

Kingly Terrace is a detached property supporting eight adults with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions. The house features 12 large single bedrooms, a communal lounge and dining area, kitchen, and a separate laundry room. It includes a Spa bathroom with a modified bath and ceiling track hoist. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, and there is a lift to upper floors. Located within a thriving community, residents are supported to access wider opportunities.

Within the service, there is a therapy space where residents can work with our sister company Neural Pathways on tailored therapy programs, including Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, with access to SALT as needed to improve quality of life.

We also have an accessible garden where residents can enjoy outdoor activities in a safe environment.

What you'll be working:
  1. Full-time
  2. 42 hours per week
  3. Nights on a rota basis
  4. Salary: £27,002.77 per annum
What you'll be doing:
  1. Building open, two-way relationships with residents
  2. Supporting residents in their rehabilitation programs, working with multidisciplinary therapists
  3. Establishing effective communication methods, reducing barriers through innovative practices
  4. Supporting residents with hydration, nutrition, and physical health needs
  5. Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, respecting choices and dignity
  6. Communicating effectively with colleagues, residents, families, and professionals
  7. Accurately reporting and recording care provided
What you'll have:
  1. A genuine interest in providing person-centered care
  2. Effective communication skills at all levels
  3. Experience in care or mental health is advantageous but not essential
  4. Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
