Job summary

HomeCareDirect Limited is hiring in Ross-on-Wye for a compassionate Support Worker/PA/HCA role. You’ll help a client live independently, assist with daily activities and attend appointments in a supportive home environment.

Care-focused training is provided; prior care experience is welcome but not required. A UK driving licence is essential, and you’ll work 16 hours per week with shifts 9am-3pm and 8pm-10pm on weekdays, with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (21+ for insurance purposes)
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential
• Must be comfortable around dogs
• Reliable, flexible and friendly attitude

Responsibilities

• Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement in daily activities
• Accompanying to appointments and social outings
• Moving and handling using a hoist
• Supporting with catheter care and maintaining hydrotherapy pool
