Job description

We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Service in Preston.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The people we support have various mental health needs. It's challenging but extremely rewarding for those looking to make a real difference. This isn’t just any role; this is a role greatly impacting the lives of the people we support. Can you commit?
  • You'll support on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community.
  • Work to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
  • Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
  • This is within a residential service.

Who you are:

  • We want individuals with a passion to support others and make a difference in their everyday lives.
  • Can you work independently, multitask, and organize?
  • Have a positive attitude under pressure?
  • Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
  • Flexible as shifts will involve earlies, lates, nights, and weekends.
  • Drivers required due to service requirements.
