National Care Group is recruiting a Support Worker for our Norwich-based Endurance Care service. You will support young adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, helping them achieve goals and live as independently as possible.

This role offers paid training, progression opportunities, and a supportive, inclusive culture. You will build relationships, assist with daily tasks, personal care, and participate in activities to promote wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with young adults by listening and planning goals together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, including eating and medication administration.
• Plan and participate in activities and days out to support independence.
• Support independence and wellbeing wherever possible.

Salary £12.71 per hour / £26,436.80 per annum (Based on 40 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Endurance Care Limited, based in Norwich.

Endurance Care Norwich is part of National Care Group will be helping to support young adults with various circumstances including learning disabilities and mental health issues. This is an exciting opportunity to help each person we support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team in Norwich. This is a newly opened service in a great location in Norwich.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes-challenging role but one with huge rewards.

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
• You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.

• A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
• A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
• Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
