Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Support Worker for our Byards Keep service in Greayles Sleaford. You will help residents gain independence, assist with personal care, and support engagement in local activities within a friendly team.

We value genuine care, resilience and flexibility, and provide training and career development opportunities. DBS checks and references are required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours.
• Resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
• All applicants subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily living and develop life skills.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community access and socialisation.
• Participate in activities and outings with the people we support.

Typical Shifts are Mon-Sun 7.30am-2.30pm - 2.30pm-9.30pm plus sleep In Full Time

Our residential service Byards Keep in Greylees Sleaford is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
