Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is seeking a confident Support Worker to help women in our care. This role is 42 hours per week, based on site at Kidsgrove in Staffordshire, part of the Cygnet hospitals network.

You will provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach, offer physical and emotional support, learn about individuals’ needs, assist with medical and welfare needs, and report as required. A safe, clean environment is maintained and safeguarding is a priority.

We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working 42 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove. Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is our hospital for women in Staffordshire.

There are two wards at the hospital; a 20 bed Acute service for women and an 11 bed Highly Specialised Personality Disorder Rehabilitation service. Crocus Ward provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. Burleigh Ward provides specialised support for women with a personality disorder and other complex needs.
