Job summary

Nurseplus is hiring Support Workers to make a real difference in the lives of those in need. You’ll provide high-quality care across settings, from elderly care to those with learning disabilities or mental health challenges.

We offer flexible shifts (full-time, part-time, days, nights, weekends), weekly pay (£12.85–£17.50/hour), a Workwise app for scheduling, industry-leading training, and opportunities for funded qualifications. DBS is arranged after registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working in care in the UK.
• Over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care and daily activities.
• Assist with safe lifting and moving.
• Administer medications as per care plans.
• Prepare meals and provide companionship.
• Follow care plans to promote independence and dignity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Support Worker may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity, providing the physical and emotional support that they might need to achieve their goals.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a minimum 6 months experience working in Care in the UK.
• Flexibility in your availability.
• Full UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ideally CPI/De-escalation Training.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
