Job summary

Honeycomb Group in Derbyshire Dales and Erewash is seeking a Home Support Worker to provide housing-related support to vulnerable and older people, helping them stay happy, safe and independent in their own homes.

You will build trusted relationships, carry out holistic assessments, co-produce support and exit plans using the Outcome Star methodology, and signpost to local services while maintaining accurate records to demonstrate impact.

Qualifications

  • A compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental individual who genuinely wants to help others.
  • Has previous experience of working in Adult Social Care (desirable)
  • An excellent communicator who can build honest and trusting relationships.
  • Organised, resilient and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • Confident working independently and using your initiative to solve problems.
  • Comfortable using ICT and Microsoft packages, digital systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Experienced in supporting vulnerable people, or passionate about developing a career in support services.
