Qualifications

  • Ability to travel to and from Uphall Station for each shift.
  • Driving licence preferred due to mobility vehicle use.

Support Worker
Location: Uphall, West Lothian
Contract: 28 hours per week
Pay: £12.60 per hour

About the Role

Real Life Options is seeking caring and committed Support Workers to join our team in Uphall Station, West Lothian. You will be supporting five men with learning disabilities in their shared home, helping them maintain independence and lead fulfilling lives.

This is a person-centred role where you’ll support individuals with their health and wellbeing, daily routines, social inclusion, and personal development.

What You'll Do

  • Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks
  • Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence
  • Facilitate access to social opportunities and new experiences
  • Work according to support plans and risk assessments
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided
  • Communicate effectively with the team, family members, and medical professionals
  • Work independently and as part of a supportive team

Shift Patterns

  • 7:30am – 3:00pm
  • 9:00am – 3:00pm
  • 3:00pm – 10:00pm
  • 4:00pm – 8:00pm

Occasional flexibility is required depending on individual needs – for example, a shift starting at 9:00am may finish at 7:00pm.
