Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is assisting a leading children’s charity in recruiting a Residential Children & Young People’s Worker for a new mental health residential home in Coalville, Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role supports children and young people with complex needs, helping them recover and build resilience in a nurturing environment.

You will build trusting relationships, collaborate with families and professionals, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic home while following

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this within the required timeframe.
• Motivation to create a positive impact on young people's lives, fostering resilience and independence.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn is equally valued.
