Job summary

Cluaran Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team delivering care in South Lanarkshire communities. You will support vulnerable adults in their homes and the community, provide personal care, assist with daily tasks and medication management, and offer companionship to promote wellbeing.

The role requires you to work well in a team, be a great listener, and show reliability and kindness. A PVG membership/SSSC registration and driving licence are preferred, with full training

• Experience in caring for vulnerable adults or similar roles is preferred
• Be able to work independently and as part of a wider team

Job description

We are looking to recruit experienced Support Workers for permanent positions working within South Lanarkshire communities. If you have caring experience, we would like to hear from you.

The Role Will Involve:

• Supporting vulnerable adults within their homes and the community.
• Providing personal care.
• Assisting with housework.
• Supporting with medication management.
• Helping with day‑to‑day tasks and providing companionship.
• Delivering the highest level of care and support.

You Need to Be:

Successful Candidates Will:

• Have a current PVG membership or be willing to join the scheme.
• Have SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration or be willing to register.
• Be able to work confidently both alone and as part of a wider team.
• Be able to use your own initiative.
• Have access to a car and hold a full driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role, experience in care is preferred. You will need to hold an N/SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
