Job summary

Cluaran Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide in-home and community care across South Lanarkshire. You will support vulnerable adults, assist with daily tasks, and promote independence with dignity and respect.

Applicants should have PVG and SSSC readiness, be able to work solo or in a team, and hold a valid driving licence. Full training and ongoing management support are provided.

Qualifications

• PVG membership required or willingness to join.
• SSSC registration or willingness to register.
• Able to work confidently both alone and in a team.
• Able to use your own initiative.
• Access to a car and full driving licence.
• Experience in care preferred.

Responsibilities

The Role Will Involve:

• Assisting with housework.
• Supporting with medication management.
• Helping with day-to-day tasks and providing companionship.
• Delivering the highest level of care and support.

Successful Candidates Will:

• Have a current PVG membership or be willing to join the scheme.
• Have SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration or be willing to register.

• Be able to use your own initiative.
• Have access to a car and hold a full driving licence.
