Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in Hereford. You'll support people with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities across local services, helping them live more independent lives.

You'll work across settings, using your skills to enable routines, relationships and activities that matter. This agency role offers flexible shifts, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities for free training and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• To be aged 18 or over
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
• The right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring, reliable and professional approach, with the confidence to adapt to different settings

Responsibilities

• Providing practical care and support
• Helping with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community
• Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement
• Providing or prompting personal care when required
• Following support plans and keeping accurate records
• Some services will require complex care, additional training will be provided to support you with this.
