Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Support Worker for Endurance Care Kent – Harrietsham. You will build positive relationships, help plan daily tasks, and support with personal care and medication where needed.

You will assist with cooking, cleaning, outings, and encouraging independence, while participating in training and qualification opportunities provided by the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
  • Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and errands.
  • Assist with personal care, including support with eating and medication administration as required.
  • Help plan and participate in outings and activities the person wishes to enjoy.
  • Support the person to become more independent wherever possible.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker
  • You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
  • You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
  • You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
  • You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
