Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Female Support Worker for Cornerstones Devizes, 40 hours per week at £12.80 per hour (£26,748.80 per year). The role involves helping people with daily tasks, personal care and planning activities to promote independence within the community.

You will build relationships, support with meals, errands and medication where needed, and participate in days out to enhance quality of life. Training and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or support roles preferred.
• Ability to plan daily tasks and assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with service users by listening and planning goals.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and errands.
• Provide personal care support and aid in medication administration as needed.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
• You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
