Job description

As a Support Worker in Halstead, you’ll be supporting individuals across the town and surrounding areas including Sible Hedingham, Earls Colne and Hedingham villages. You’ll be part of our Essex team, which holds a CQC Outstanding rating, working alongside a small, local group of colleagues rather than a large, impersonal rota. Many of the people you’ll support have long-standing relationships with our team, so you’ll get to build real continuity rather than one-off visits. It’s a varied, hands‑on role with a family‑run provider that’s been part of the Essex care community for over 30 years.

  • In addition to this, some of the individuals that we support may require assistance and prompting with aspects of their personal care.
  • Visits can range from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the Client’s needs and requirements. In addition to this, some of the people we support require sleep in duties overnight.
Experience:

This role is varied, and every day is different, so being adaptable, and using your common sense and initiative are a ‘must’ for this role. You do not need to have worked as a Support Worker before applying to us, but all experience in this field will help. Forest Homecare is committed to ongoing training and supervision, qualifications, and continuing professional development. We also provide an extensive induction on the commencement of employment.
