Job summary

Forest Homecare Limited is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals across Halstead and surrounding areas as part of a small Essex team. The role offers a varied, hands-on workload with opportunities for ongoing training and development within a family-run provider with over 30 years' presence in the community.

You will support with everyday activities, pursue vocational and social opportunities, and assist with personal care when needed.

Qualifications

• Car ownership essential due to location of service users.
• Experience in hospitality, customer service, or retail can be transferable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with a wide range of activities including access to vocational, educational and social activities.
• Assist with home tasks and daily living activities to meet service users' needs.
• Provide personal care support as required.
• Visits may range from 30 minutes to several hours, with some sleep-in duties overnight.
