Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers in Greater Manchester to help adults with varying care needs. You will spend your shift with the people you support, delivering person-centred care and enabling independence.

This permanent role offers 41 hours per week with varied shifts, including day/evening hours, sleep-ins, and progression opportunities. DBS/PVG coverage and a supportive work environment are provided.

Who you will be supporting and the role

Who you will be supporting

You will be supporting 3 gentlemen aged 54 to 93. Our challenge is to maintain independence alongside our staff team. Our staff are trained in all areas of support from first aid training to positive support. They enjoy going to MENCAP a couple of times a week to see their friends. They like to keep active, but also enjoy days overseeing the scenery with a good cup of tea. They have cars to be supported about on activities.

Driving licence: UK manual driving licence is essential

Contract: Permanent, 41 hours

Hours of work: 10:00-22:00 sleep-in, with follow-on shifts of 07:00-10:30, 10:30-18:00, 10:30-17:00, 10:00-21:00, 08:30-18:00

Other:

• There are 2-3 staff per day and there is some lone working involved
• There are 2 day shifts, 10am-6pm or 10am-9pm, and a sleeping shift of 10am-10pm, 10pm-7am, 7am-10:15am
• Staff will be provided with all training. If you are kind hearted, caring, patient and want to give the best life possible, Boulderstone Road is the house for you
